Аннотация The article contains the principles for evaluating the effectiveness of the use of the resource potential of the region. The characterization of these principles can form the approaches to the understanding of the effectiveness of resource potential, taking into account new methodological approaches. The author introduces the concept of efficient use of the resource potential of the region.
